Berlin enforces zero-tolerance policy on criminal gangs

After a series of spectacular crimes, authorities in the German capital Berlin are hitting back with a zero-tolerance policy on criminal gangs. Police raids have increased in number, particularly in the neighbourhood of Neukölln. It's considered to be the hideout of the main criminal clans, whose members are often of Lebanese or Kurdish origin. The crackdown, however, will take years. Critics say it shows up the failures of German integration policy in the 1980s. Our correspondents report.
